For those of you who don’t have a bae, and even those that do, Galentine’s Day is the perfect time to express your love to your best friends who have been there through it all. Friendships always deserved to be celebrated, but Galentine’s Day is a chance to go all out. So, on February 13th, put on your highest heels, darkest lipstick, and enjoy one of these date ideas with the people you are thankful to have in your life.
Mani, Pedi
It’s important to pamper yourself every once in a while and why not do it alongside your bestie? A mani, pedi is the perfect Galentine’s Day date because it mixes relaxation with conversation. A few of my favorite places to get pampered in Tampa Bay are The Nail Shoppe and Crave Spa. Both of these spots have awesome nail technicians and great prices that will keep you and your besties happy. Crave Spa even has a special going on at the beginning of next week for Galentine’s Day that includes a mani, pedi, and a glass of proseco.
Go All Out
Sometimes it feels like you need a reason to get all dressed up with your girls, but Galentine’s Day is the perfect excuse. This year, Galentine’s Day lands on a Tuesday, which means lots of random specials and happy hours at bars to bring out people on weeknights. Invite the girls over beforehand to pop a bottle of champagne and get ready together, then uber over to the bars and dance all night. (Maybe not all night. Remember, it is a school night.) Have good conversation and good times with your girls.
Stay All In
Sometimes the best nights are the ones when you and your friends stay in your pj’s, order take out, and watch old movies all night. Bad romantic comedies are my favorite movies to watch with my friends because they are easy to make fun of and you don’t have to pay that much attention because, let’s face it, they all follow the same story line. Throw it back and get nostalgic by making friendship bracelets or ice cream sundaes if movies won’t keep you interested enough. This is a super great way to hang with your girls all night without breaking the bank.
